Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me how many teeth a standard K1 1200 front sprocket has? I could look but the bike is tucked away and I am in bed atm lol.

If I were to go down a tooth, how would it effect acceleration and how much top end would I lose? I'm not overly fussed on top end as such, but it's the RPM at say 70-80mph I would be worried about as it could be annoying if it was fairly high.

Dropping to a 14T front livens things up quite a bit... a little buzzy on the highway, but if you mostly ride around-townish they're a blast.  Perfect addition if you're running a GSXR intake cam.

If you want more zing, but not quite as deep a final another choice would be to keep the 15T front and swap to a 47T rear; will usually fit okay with 110 links... the 15 is also a little easier on the chain.
