There's an old thread somewhere that has good and bad dealers named.  If this guy has ripped you and others off I'd name him in a thread and warn people to avoid. Also consider banning him.

Is it worth making a member feedback section in the for sale /wanted section so when a person buys something off somone they can add feedback  to the seller's thread?
March 04, 2014, 18:58:08 PM
i had a similiar problem before so now i take precautions if i buy of forums i ask the seller if he/her has sold anything before on the forum and what the butyers username was or i look through his/her old post to see if he/her has sold items before and responses from buyers
March 04, 2014, 11:56:53 AM
Its people like that which ruin it for anyone else trying to sell stuff here. Really disappointed.
March 04, 2014, 09:37:40 AM
Yes, that's the guy.
March 03, 2014, 21:43:12 PM

March 03, 2014, 13:25:12 PM
Thank you to all for your help and especially to the admins for help with my forum member who took payment and never sent item. I have tried contacting him via here and personal email with no replies so after a month its time to name and shame the member as Stevieblue09. Do not buy from this person
February 27, 2014, 18:56:11 PM
PM admin with username. At least he can keep tabs on anyone who may be a dodgy seller

I have a similar problem. I bought a tank cover from a guy off the forum. He said he bought it for his Mk1, but it didn't fit as it was for a Mk2 and advertised it as such. I bought it from him. I don't know what bike it's for, but it doesn't fit a Mk 2 that's for sure. Now I can't get a respo

I got stitched up for a 500 car deposit and paypal would not refund! Bank got it back within 7 days due to distance selling regs and the fact I'd not had anything for my money.
February 25, 2014, 11:29:03 AM
Cheers people, Its been 20 days so far, I will give it till end of next week as the person hasnt been on the forum since the 13th so may be away, I will keep trying to message them and find out. Thanks again guys
February 24, 2014, 20:32:06 PM
try contacting them again, keep it polite, as they may have something going on at home/be away on holiday, give it a decent amount of time and if its still a no go, name and shame!
February 24, 2014, 20:18:50 PM
unfortunately there are no moderatable rules with buying and selling, most we can do is contact the person and hope they either deliver the goods or offer a refund. buy and selling here is all about/risk/trust.
February 24, 2014, 20:10:20 PM
